- Course objectives
- The topic of the seminar is genre story in Modern Greek literature. At the end of the course, students will be familiar with the development of this literary genre, its main representatives and their works. Further, students will be informed about realistic and naturalistic movements in Greek literature of the 19th century.

- Theoretical introduction: genre story – development, main representatives and works, realism in Greek literature of the 19th century, naturalism in Greek literature of the 19th century.
- Reading and analysis of chosen works.
