- The course is intended to introduce main genres and paradigmes of scholarly interest in arts. It focuses on elementary concepts and methodological problems of art and cultural studies.

- Assessment methods
- Students are expected to read the the literature related to particular topics of lectures during the semester. The students are required to submit a written essay in the form of a scholarly review of a foreign language book on art or cultural studies. There is a written test at the end of the course.
