Course objectives
The subject is devoted to instruct students to master standards and codifications of literary language. Education is aimed at practical cultivation of verbal, communication skills. It includes seminars with practical demonstrations and tests related to individual theme.
At the end of this course, students should:
be able to communicate across various disciplines; be able to present brief report in public;

  • 3.Principles of refined and cultivated speech. Present-day communication and media
  • 4.Rhetorical skills
  • 5.Personality of speaker, asertivity
  • 6.Nonverbal communication
  • 7.Preparation, performance of expert speech, argumentation, anti-argumentation
  • 8.Different types of performance, rhetorical ethics
  • 9.Meetings, reunions, conferences
  • 10.Dealing with difficult people, ethical incorrectness, manipulation and defence against it
  • 11.Social opportunities, cultural differences
