- Course objectives
- Practicing and mastering: writing i/y after soft, hard and ambiguous consonants (exceptions, endings of substantives, adjectives and verbs). Practice of writing diacritical signs, dictations, filling the texts, writing ú/ů/u. The aim is to coordinate writing and speaking skills (level B2 for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and prepare for qualifying exam.
- Syllabus
- During the course students will be acquainted with following topics: 1/ writing i/y after hard and soft consonants 2/ writing i/y after ambiguous consonants: - exceptions, - endings of substantives, - endings of adjectives, - present and past of verbs 3/ practice of writing diacritical signs 4/ u/ů/ú in Czech words and words taken from foreign languages 5/ basic special literature will be presented, its usage and structure Theory will be completed with practical exercises (collective work during lessons) and short tests.
