Course objectives
How to delineate the main differences between Cz and French languages ? Comparison with some translations.
Syllabus
  • Different kind of texts to translate from Cz into French. Choice from daily Czech news or Czech litterature according to student' interest.

Teaching methods
Active participation in the course (only 2 missings are accepted). Participation on class discussions and all written homeworks are requested.
Assessment methods
Examination: resumé and translation of a new text into French. The final note is calculated according to attendance and active participation in the course (min. 80 %) and after successfully completing the final examination (success rate 80 %) where students prove their capability to connect theoretical knowledge with the analysis and interpretation of literary texts.
