- Teaching methods
- Lecture: exposition and definitions of basic terms and their exemplification on different types of specific text (recordings), proceeding from diverse registers. Seminar: application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts (recordings). During their presentations students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of a specific text.
- Assessment methods
- Credit – based on attendance, which must reach 80%. In case attendance is not met, students will be asked to submit a test. If handed in after January 31st, the test will be judged as a resit. Attendance lower than 50% will result in failing the course. Lecture attendance is voluntary, seminar attendance mandatory.
