Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are: extended skills in the use of Swedish, both spoken and written, in different thematic areas;
deepening the knowledge of grammar;
extension of vocabulary in everyday situations, as well as specific topics
Syllabus
  • Working with easier texts and newspaper articles which relate to Swedish life and social conditions, specific themes, such as travelling, geography, Swedish traditions, typical Swedish
  • Practicing detailed grammatical domains, with emphasis on the contrast between Czech and Swedish, for example, the use of articles and tenses
  • Working with authentic audio materials

Teaching methods
The seminar is based on methods of presentation, analysis and synthesis of knowledge. It also uses collective work, in-class discussions and individual work of students.
