- Course objectives
- The students will be acquainted with the basic terms in the field of translation and translation studies and with a brief outline of the development of approaches to translation. We will also focus in the the importance of competence in the target (Czech) language.
- Syllabus
- Every class has this structure: 1. a brief presentation of selected translation problem, basic terms in the field of translation and translation studies, 2. team work on a Polish text, 3. reading of the translated text with comments.
