Course objectives

The aim of the subject is introduction to the cataloging rules AACR2 and also analysis of the problems, which are connected with cataloging rules considered as a type of meta-language. There will be analyzed syntactical, semantical and pragmatical structure of the AACR2. In the end of the subject, students will understand basis semantical questions and sturucture of the cataloging rules AACR2.
