Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to evolve dramaturgical plan of production of the Greek tragedy.

  • 1. Greek theatre, its function. Tragedy and theatrical space
  • 2. Production of Greek tragedy on the modern stage
  • . 3. The study of three selected tragedies (Hippolytus, Helene, Children of Herkules)
