Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following:
acquainting students with basic principles of management;
making students aware their application to museums;
acquainting students with basic principles of production logistics;

  • Introduction, terminology, literature;
  • Management, basics terms, history of management;
  • Planning, organisation, managing, controling. Pesonal management;
  • Strategic management, projects management;
  • Logistic;
  • Museum as institution, basic organisational structure, basics legal documents;
  • Professional organisations - ICOM, AMG (Association museums and galleries of Czech Republic);
