PSA_0SZ Presupposes the active participation of students, the completion of the course must attend the first seminar and in the semester to present a one psychodiagnostic instrument.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide practical experience in psychological performance testing. Usage and limitations of psychodiagnostic methods in process of administration, scoring, their interpretation and ethical aspects will be discussed. Choice of methods is based on needs and interests of course attendants. After completion of the course students will be able to work with selected high power tests and they be oriented in the way of administration. At the end of the course students will be able to describe and understatnd the structure of interpretation results of the methods used.
Syllabus
  • 1. Theoretical background. The principles of the diagnostic methods usage. The possibilities and the limitations of the different diagnostic procedures and methods. Risks. The ethical aspects. 2. Practical training: the administration of the chosen methods (intelligence tests, tests of the special aptitudes and the particular mental functions). 3. Discussion on the experiences with methods.

Teaching methods
2 hours per week, group and individual work of students, discussion of the results obtained.
Assessment methods
The colloquium is conditional upon 80% attendance at seminars and presentations of a psychodiagnostic instrument and submitting case reports analyzing the results of each participant in all the methods used psdg.
