Course objectives
Constrastive Spanish-Czech grammar course, focused on problematic grammatical topics.
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
Student should be able to understand short Spanish texts and related grammatical phenomena.
Essential points of grammar; oral expression; comprehension exercices; reading and commenting of literary and newspaper texts. Listening exercices.
Syllabus
  • Spanish verbs (ser, estar, haber) and their usage.
  • Definite and indefinite articles.
  • Non-personal verg forms and their contastive usage in Czech.
  • prepositions.
  • Syntactic differences.

Teaching methods
Active participation in the course
Participation on class discussions and all written homeworks are requested.
Assessment methods
Credit: is obtained for attendance and active participation in the course (min. 80 %) and after successfully completing a final written test (success rate 80 %)
Obligatory presence is required.
