- Course objectives
- The lecture follows up discussion of the history of administration until 1620. It focuses on the description and operation of the institutions of central administration in Vienna, Czech administrative institutions in Prague, Moravian institutions in Brno and Silesian in Opava. Independent authorities of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia are also subject to discussion. Students will be instructed about the relations between the bodies of the landowners’ institutions and those of the nobility.
