Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to obtain the basic knowledge and practical skills in the Italian normative grammar and vocabulary. The course is aimed at the training of the use of basic grammatical issues, the development of the vocabulary and speaking skills in everyday situations. At the end of the course, students should reach the following level of European reference frame: B1.
Syllabus
  • Analysis of the system of tenses and their use.
  • The types of senteces.
  • Indicative and subjunctive consecution of tenses.
  • Constructions of verb forms with infinitives etc.
  • Issues of the Italian syntax which are different from the Czech ones.
  • Lexicology.
  • Phraseology

Teaching methods
The course involves regular grammatical excercises, controll tests and developing of vocabulary (lexical and phraseological excercises).
Assessment methods
Attendance and active participation in the course (75% min.). Credit - written test.
