Course objectives
Date between 3000-1500 B.C. opens large scale of horizons and knowledge about Iranian Plateau. Study in this specific period, will display improvement of social , cultural life and technical methods from the Early Bronze Age through the Late Iron Age.
Syllabus
  • Iran at the end of Chalcolithic period and transition to the Bronze Age in number of sites such as Tepe Gyian in central Zagros, Susa in south west,Tale Iblis in Kerman, Halylan Valley in Lurestan, Tepe Godin in Kermanshah, Turang Tepe in north east, Shahre sokhte in south east of Iran. The Bronze Age in Iran ( ca.3000-1500B.C.) with criterion and characters of this period. Bronze Age in different regions in Iranian plateau: north west with sites such as: Hasanlu tepe, Dinkha tepe, Geoy tepe, Haftavan tepe,Yanik tepe, Central Zagros includes tepe Giyan, Godin tepe, south west Zagros ( Fars) with sites such as Tale Malyan , north east of Iran with ancient sites such as Turang Tepe, in central north site like Tepe Sialk, south east with sites such as Tepe Yahya and Burned city, south west of Iran in Susa.
