- Course objectives
- Course demography introduce students to fundamental characterization of populations and with processes, that affect their growth or decline. A part of course wil be overview on development world's population, about specifiecs particular areas and connecions, that along demographic phenomena bring into the social areas. Consideration will be dedicated to development of population in Czech republic. Especially consideration will be appropriate to consequence and connection demographic processes in educational policy and existence of schools. Basic aim of the course is to get competence use public electronic sources of statistic and demographic data and their processing.

- 1. Demografphy, demographic proceses and phenomenon; public demographic data and their structure
- 2. Czech population and its spatial distribution, settlements.
- 3. Structure of czech population: age, gender, education, families, social structure, economic activity
- 4. Structure of czech population: religion, etnic structure, healt conditions, households
- 5. Mortality - situation, causes, self-destructiveness; Natality - situation, fertility, abortions, bilance of populations
- 6. Marriage and divorces; projections of population
- 7. Demographic trends in worls population.
