- Course objectives
- Phonological and morphological analysis of Czech texts is the issue of Seminar I. The seminar is focused on reconstruction of the phonological and morphological development of Czech during the thousand years of its existence. For the work in seminars, transliterated Old Czech texts are used as a material.

- Teaching methods
- The seminar is based on analyzing Old Czech texts, students are required to prepare for the classes (to study independently concrete scholarly materials, including electronic sources, such as “Vokabulář webový” etc.); depending on teachers’ approaches, it is also possible to use the e-learning system. Students’ knowledge is checked in classes by oral or written exercises.
- Assessment methods
- To receive the credits, a written analysis of a part of a transliterated Old Czech text is required, the specific tasks being: a transcription of the text, a phonological analysis of each word, giving the dates of its gradual changes from the Proto-Czech period to the present day and identification of all given forms of the inflectional parts of speech, including the development from the Proto-Czech period to the present day. Minimum pass level 75 %.

General note: Překlenovací seminář CJBB133 je vždy rozvrhově přičleněn k některé ze seminárních skupin CJA041 (v semestru podzim 2013 ke skupině dr. Koska).
Information on course enrolment limitations: Aktuálně otvírané jen pro příchozí studenty z jiných fakult do mgr. navazujícího studia oboru, kteří dosud neabsolvovali hist. mluvnici češtiny.
