Basic computer literacy. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- At the end of the course students should be able to: - define main concepts of the research topic, define their information demands - search and choose relevant sources of information - be familiar with the use of electronic and classic information sources related to their subject of study - know how to use effectively miscellaneous search engines - manage how to evaluate, organize and use information - be familiar with the differencies of particular search engines in electronic information sources - use library electronic information services for their study and practice - work with scientific texts - be familiar with (new) Internet utilities - understand ethical and legal matters related to information technologies, information science etc.

- Full e-learning, weekly modules require regular work on homeworks and tetst.
- Assessment methods
- Distance online course, comprised of 13 theme modules. For succesful course conclusion, students have to: - fulfil continuous written homeworks and tests - pass a final written homework and test
