Course objectives
Museography and museology, basic terminology of contemporary museum studies, the creation of a system of organization and documentation for museums; museum communication and presentation the development of museums in Europe and the Czech Republic, archaeology in Czech museums.

  • Introduction, terminology, subject, methodology;
  • History of museums and collections;
  • Collecting in museums;
  • Documentation of museum objects;
  • Protection and security of musaeum collections;
  • Museum exhibitions;
  • Public relations in museums;
  • Museum management and marketing;
  • Legal system of culture in Czech Republic
