- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminar is an overview of the history of Romanesque architecture in Europe. At the end of the course students should have basic knowledge of terminology and historical context, should be able to recognize ground and spatial lay-out based on the function and importance of the building, and they should also be able to understand and explain regional and general phenomenon of architecture and its decoration. He/she should be also able to make reasoned decisions about the role and position of ordering owner and master builder.
