Course objectives
The seminar cycle should offer to the students the basic overwiew about the reading of the Latin script at the period of the Middle Ages, it means since the XIII. Century AD to the XV. Century AD. At the end of the programme the student should be able to:
- use the knowledges from the development od the latin script from the XIII.th to the XV.th Cent. on the historical sources, especially by the datation of the undated texts
- transcribe selected original (Latin, German, Czech) texts from 1200-1500
- analyse and read original texts from 1200-1500
