- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce experimental archaeology to students (e.g. recent research questions and the possibilities of answering them with modern methods). Students will get the opportunity to learn basic material-working skills and traditional production technologies at practical workshops. Theoretical lectures will be given by experts.
- Learning outcomes
- Student is educated on practical differences between popular living history and scientific experiment
Student gain practice and knowledge for own experimental practice, which is frequently inseparable part of archeological research
Student gain autenthic view to reality of prehistoric and historic working and producting processes, which gives him/her better perspective for future interpretation of archaeological data - Syllabus
