- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is a research of reflections of the year 1968 in media. The course is connected with a cycle of films to the 50th anniversary of the reform year 1968 within Student cinema in the University cinema Scala.
- Learning outcomes
- In the end of the course the student will be able to:
understand the events of the reform year 1968 in Czechoslovakia
analyse fiction and documentary films connected with those events
confront contemporary and later medial reflection of those events - Syllabus

- Czech and Slovak film and tv productions of 1968-69
- International context, student and protest movement around the world
- So called crisis period in the normalization cinema
- 1968-69 in Czech and Slovak post-November cinema
