- At the end of the course students should be able to apply knowledge acquired during previous language courses on unknown text in Chinese; the emphasis will be put on understanding of sentence structure and gradual building of students' vocabulary.

- Criteria: 1) Attendance:20% (only 1 unexcused absence allowed!!!) 2) Active participation in the class:40% 3) Activity:40%(duration:5 10 minutes) For example: 1. Sing a Chinese song 2. Tell a short story in Chinese 3. Say a joke in Chinese 4. Creative activity Only those students who get 70%↑ can participate at the final exam Final exam:Pass: 70%↑;Fail:70%↓ Detailed sylabus please find in the study materials.
