Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to apply knowledge acquired during previous language courses on unknown text in Chinese; the emphasis will be put on understanding of sentence structure and gradual building of students' vocabulary.

Teaching methods
● students' home preparation includes: acquiring of new vocabulary, preparation for the text translation
● class discussion, group presentation and homework.
Assessment methods
Criteria： 1) Attendance：20% （only 1 unexcused absence allowed!!!） 2) Active participation in the class：40% 3) Activity：40%（duration：5 10 minutes） For example： 1. Sing a Chinese song 2. Tell a short story in Chinese 3. Say a joke in Chinese 4. Creative activity Only those students who get 70%↑ can participate at the final exam Final exam：Pass: 70%↑；Fail:70%↓ Detailed sylabus please find in the study materials.
