Course objectives
The students learn advanced skills in academic writing - in terms of grammar, style and vocabulary, Chinese academic conventions.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- understand and use the specifics of Chinese written academic style;
- understand and employ the specifics of Chinese academic conventions in writing Chinese academic text;
- write an article, conference paper and present it orally in Chinese
Syllabus
  • 週數 上課進度 作業 備註 1 引言、課程概述、議題選定 2 認識特定領域（一） 論文摘要及評論 找出一篇自身領域的中文學術論文閱讀，並以中文書面簡述內容並評論（摘要約半頁、評論約一頁）。 3 特定領域術語與詞彙（一） 找出一本自身領域的英語百科全書，並選擇二十項詞條，將定義翻譯為中文。 4 特定領域術語與詞彙（二） 按教師意見，修改詞條並上傳作業。 5 寫作結構與技巧（一） 6 寫作結構與技巧（二） 7 寫作結構與技巧（三） 上傳「寫作結構」部分的作業 8 句子與段落（一） 9 句子與段落（二） 摘要 上傳「句子與段落」部分的作業 10 期末報告 修改摘要 參照教師意見後上傳修正版本
