- The main objectives of the course are the following.
making students aware of causes of protection and security of museums objects and identify it;
acquainting students with the metohds of museum's objects protection
draw-up the plans of security and protection in museum - Learning outcomes

- Introduction, basic terms, literature;
- Security plans, organisational structure of museum and security;
- Museums buildings security. Disaster control planing and plans;
- Physical and electronic security. Protection against fire;
- Handling museum artefacts; studying and researchers; advance of museum artefacts to other museums;
- Packing and transport of museum objects;
- Protection of collection against sources of damage - temperature, light, humidity, dust, air pollution etc.;
- Pasive and active conservation; Climate in museum building;
- Recommended levels of light, relative humidity, temperature for museum objects. Reactivity of material;
