Course objectives
The aim of this course is to develop writing and oral skills within the business communication in German. By using a number of listening exercises the corresponding vocabulary will be trained (interviews, leaving a message, giving a report, making an appointment, meeting, description of a product, order and reservation, making a complaint, making a claim). In the written part the course focuses on these topics: demand, offer,contract, accepting an order, delivery, delayed payments, notification letters, making a claim. The teacher expects from the students active presence in the seminar (compulsory attendance 75%), drawing up of business letters, oral presentation of products. The students gain the minimum of 70% from the final test.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will master the usual written and oral skills of corporate communication.
They will acquire the respective vocabulary for individual topics. You will be able to apply it with regard to whether it is a written or spoken language.
