At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain the basis of contemporary analytical metaphysics with heklp of (especially) modal logic and possible world framework; grasps the key notions of current debate;

  • propositions, properties, relations and individuals in possible-world framework
  • names vs descriptions, modal argument
  • propositions vs. facts, propositional attitudes, hyperintensionality

The final exam is partly written, partly oral, in-class activity is required, written preparation from lesson to lesson is required as well.
