- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of basic Swedish grammar. At the end of the course students should communicate and express themselves grammatically correctly, both orally and in writing in simple everyday language situations.
- Syllabus
- Basic morphological and syntactic patterns and structures. 1. Verbs - imperative (imperativ), present (Presens), infinitive, past tense (preteritum), past perfect (perfekt); differences in the use of preteritum and perfekt 2. Nouns - indefinite and definite singular and plural; use of articles 3. Adjectives - indefinite and definite singular and plural, comparison of regular adjectives 4. Pronouns (Pronomen) - Personal (personliga), possessive (possessiva), demonstrative (demonstrativa), interrogative (interrogativa), indefinite (indefinita) 5. Numerals - cardinal and ordinal 6. Word order - basic in main and subordinate clauses 7. Irregular verbs (selection) 8. Prepositions(selection) 9. Auxiliary verbs (selection)
