- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: explain the key concepts of contemporary ontology and epistemology; understand their historical roots; understand their connection to other disciplines; make use of the acheived knowledge in the creation of the Introduction to Humanities course curriculum taught at high schools.

- Ontology and natural science in the 20th century (matter, time, space, movement).
- Analytical metaphysics.
