Course objectives
Objective: the seminar concentrates on selected problems of Czech and European musical baroque and classical style, with respect to the period aesthetic theories (affect theory, musical rhetorics) and to Aufführungspraxis. Attention will also be paid to the methodology of musicology and to music historiography.
