- Course objectives
- The main goal of this course is to obtain an complet overview of the process of creating academic text and learn how to create academic text.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing the course student:
- knows types of professional texts focusing on higher education - abstract, annotation, resume, essay, seminar work, etc.;
- understands the structure of the scientific text and can work with paragraphs and chapters;
- understands argumentation and can use it for writing;
- understands issues of publication and citation ethics;
- knows and can use electronic information sources;
- understands and uses typographic rules using ICT tools;
- is able to work on his / her professional text in various stages - Syllabus

- What to write - the structure of scientific text;
- Where and how to publish an professional text - archive of theses, professional journals, review procedure;
- The writing process - phases of creating the text, choosing the topic;
