- Course objectives
- The course aim is a critical assessment of the development of literature after 1989. The focus shall be put on the 90s: the youngest generation of poets, the discourse of the literary criticism of the age, literary manifests, post-modern and authentistical tendencies in prose, the emergence of the new generation of prose writers after 1989.
- Learning outcomes
- The student shall be able:
- to interpret texts and metatexts of literary criticism with regards to contemporary context;
- to understand the development of genres and topics in prose and poetry;
- to comprehend the value criteria, as well as their ideological and temporal background;
- to acknowledge the changes in the approach to literature after 1989. - Syllabus
