- Course objectives
- If we would like to understand history of the world cinema after WWII, we should study Italian cinema, especially neorealism and the auteurs emerged from this movement. That is why we offer the course focused on Italian cinema (before the panoramic course FAVBKa09 planned for next spring). We will follow the book of BRUNETTA, Gian Piero (1993): Storia del cinema italiano I-IV. 2a edizione, Roma: Editori Riuniti. This work reflect not only films and auteurs but the context of production, distribution, policies, economy and institutions.
