Course objectives
The goals of this course is to review and perfect information on Lithuanian language gained in the main course of Lithuanian (BA_L3). In the second year of Baltic studies the communicative skills are deveoped in the first place. At the end of the course students should be able to: - improvise in Lithuanian in the real communicative situation (i. e. without prepration) - reproduce spoken text in his/her own words.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
communicate the given topics;
orientate himself in given grammar;
passivelly used some of participial constructions.

  • Intonation patterns of the Lithuanian sentence
  • Using Lithuanian nominal syntagma (drill)

Assessment methods
Two written translations: one to the Lithuanian and one from the Lithuanian. Final exam: conversation in Lithuanian plus written test.
