- Course objectives
- The course is dealing with basic information on the ancient Greek and Roman theatre and drama.
The course is held in Czech. - Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student will be able to:
- explain political, social, and religious contexts of the two strands;
- identify major theatrical genres and the ways they were staged;
- identify major dramatic genres and their most important representatives;
- outline the position that classical drama holds in Czech stage practise. - Syllabus
