- Course objectives
- The aim of this subject is to prove the skills of understanding original latin poetic text, to translate from Latin into Czech language and to acquire the konwledge of selected passages in individual reading.
- Learning outcomes
- The students should be able to understand, translate from Latin to Czech and to comment on the passages selected for reading.
- Syllabus
- Reading Ovidius is not a course regularly taught during the semester. Students gain credit for independent reading of selected passages from Ovid's Metamorphoses and lesser works.

- Reading Ovid is a prerequisite for the B.A. State Final Exam. The examination takes place after the 2nd year of the study.
