- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to learn the practical skills of the work with legal regulations; to master general legal terminology, interpretation and application procedures and the apprehension of legal thinking. The basic set of lectures will be aimed at the basic legal concepts, the system of law, the interpretation procedures and the forms of application of law.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able:
- to define basic legal concepts;
- to identify formal sources of law;
- to characterize the system of law;
- to describe the process of application of law;
- to interpret the text of legal norms. - Syllabus
- Concept, Substance and Function of Law, System of Law, System of Legal Science. Sources of Law. Legal Norm, Structure and Elements. Classification of Legal Norms and their Features. Interpretation of Law. Forms of Implementation of Legal Norms, Concept of Legal Relationship. Legal Facts as Presumptions of Legal Relationships. Subjects, Objects and Contents of Legal Relationship. Application of Law. Legal Responsibility. Rule of Law as an Expression of Relation between State and Law.
