- Course objectives
- The students will gain basic knowledge and skills in the area of passive and active translation of business texts in the seminar. The course concentrates on adoption of basic vocabulary, specific syntactical constructions and acquisition of skills of formal processing of business contracts and related business documents.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing the course, the student will be able to:
- better orientate in the Russian business environment;
- conduct elementary business communication in Russian (both personally and by telephone);
- create a company presentation in Russian and effectively present it;
- translate basic commercial documentation and correspondence from Russian to Czech using the dictionary and the available information sources. - Syllabus
