Course objectives
The course means further development in communicative abilities in Ukrainian language and strengthening conversational skills necessary for full-fledged everyday communication as well as for communication about general cultural topics.
Learning outcomes
As a result of studying the discipline the student will:
- deepen the communicational skills in Ukrainian language on the basis of practical mastering of language and speech concepts;
- improve socio-cultural, linguistic competence and expand knowledge about Ukraine;
- have a vocabulary that includes colloquial clichés and idiomatic expressions;
- use expressions effectively according to different situations in everyday life.

  • 1. Stages of our lives. School. University. Professions (repetition). Family and children. Future.
  • 2. Shops (grocery, clothing, household chemicals). Services: hairdresser, repair, photo studio, beauty salon. Buying tickets.
  • 3. Animals. Zoo.
  • 4. Work. Interview. My resume.
  • 5. Culture. Literature. Art. Cinema and photography.
  • 6. Ukraine. Czech Republic. Interesting facts about Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Travel.
