- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- Work in the seminar, based on managed writing with the help of stimulation techniques, unblocking techniques and associative techniques (e.g clustering, alphabet, acrostics, automatic writing to a theme) is aimed at creating correct working habits and advanced text-creating competences in the student with regard to the specifics of aesthetic communication in the Czech language milieu. Particular attention is dedicated to interferential effects when using non-neutral styles, irony, exaggeration, culturally-specific taboos and the breaking of them, polite phrases. Upon completing the course, students will have an understanding of the creative principles of text composition; understand the different communicative functions of the text and create a successfully communicative text in Czech at C1 level.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- use appropriate methods and techniques in the progressive phases of creating an essayistic test;
- use appropriate creative strategies for a light literary genre;
- recognise the dominant chatacteristics of texts in various literary genres;
- distinguish between the functions of various types of literary text and the communicative function of autobiographical writing. - Syllabus
