Course objectives
The goal of the diploma seminar II is to assist the student in completing the diploma thesis and prepare for its successful defence. The subject is organized individually, the degree of the treatement of the diploma work and participation in consultations are classified in the given semester by course unit credit granted or not granted.
Learning outcomes
By completing the seminar, the student develops his/her abilities for independent specialized work and management of analyses and criticism of the specialized literature and source material.
Syllabus
  • Individual consultations with the thesis supervisor, which take place based on the needs of the student and with a view to the level and approach of the completedness of the work. The diploma thesis addresses a scholarly issue at a level appropriate to the degree being pursued. In the diploma thesis the student must demonstrate the ability to work independently in keeping with academic standards, to manage the relevant scholarly literature and analyses of the material examined.
