- Course objectives
- Italian normative grammar, vocabulary development, oral expression training, reacting in everyday conversation, understanding of both spoken and written forms of the language. The output language competence corresponds to CEFR: A1.
- Learning outcomes
- The students will learn basic comunication in the language; will be able to understand and react to elementary question; will learn grammar and lexis corresponding to CEFR A1.
- Syllabus
- The main objective of the course is to obtain the basic knowledge of Italian grammar, vocabulary, phraseology and idioms. The practical part of the course includes excercises in the verbal conjugation (present tense) etc. The grammar excercises will be accompanied by short written tests held during the course. The work in the seminar will also focus on enriching student's lexis. Topics: 1) personal information, 2) bar and restaurants, 3) house and town, 4) activities at home, 5) the weather Grammar structures: regular nouns and adjectives, present tense of regular and irregular verbs, there is / there are, prepositions, definite and indefinite articles, adverbs (never, always etc.).
