- Course objectives
- The course aims to provide a theoretical basis for listening lessons. Students will be provided with sufficient theoretical training to be able to complete an internship, which in the next semester has the form of listening and from the third semester continues in the form of their own teaching combined with other practice-oriented activities in the prescribed grant.

- - the student has a theoretical framework of skills for the observationa and analysis of classroom situations.
- the student can observe and evaluate teaching according to scientific criteria.
- the student is capable to give a factual and constructive feedback.

- 1. Why observation and analysis? Goals of classroom observations
- 2. Basic terminology, influencing factors and methods
- 3. Forms of observation
- 4. Analysis criteria
- 5. Collaborative analysis of classroom situations (videos)
- 6. Slight mishaps and mistakes during observation
- 7. Compilation of an observation and analysis report

- Kick-off presentation based on a scientific text, which was read in class. An attendance of at least 75% is mandatory.
