Main objectives of the course may be summarized as follows: Modern scandinavian literature works in European context
Literary prices and their role for the dynamic cultural development in Scandinavia
Contemporary Scandinavian authors in literary discurse

Students comprehension to characterize and analyze a literary text.

Teaching methods
Lecture and seminar
Reading the novels to the concrete date
The seminar is based on methods of presentation, analysis and synthesis of knowledge. It also uses collective work, in-class discussions and individual work of students.

Type of Competition: seminar thesis (4 s.) and oral colloquium
