Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issues of the practice of scientific research in psychology, and to familiarize students with the possibilities of practical use of selected current procedures, technologies and methods in research work. After completing the course, the student will gain an overview of the practices used in scientific research and the possibilities and limits of selected research tools and methods. S/he will also acquire practical knowledge of the creation of documents for planned research.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to generally orientate themselves in the field of conducting scientific research in psychology and look for appropriate methods for their research. Part of the subject is the preparation of a research proposal on any topic.
