- Course objectives
- The course is focused on the preparation of an advanced version of the masters's thesis by the student through regular consultations with the thesis supervisor. The frequency of these consultations depends on the needs of the student and takes into account the level of student's progress. In this course, an advanced provisional version of a master's thesis means a thesis that is practically completed regarding the content but requires further minor modifications based on the supervisor's feedback or partial formal corrections and final proofreading. Based on supervisor's feedback, a final version of the masters's thesis is prepared and submitted.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able to:
- compose a relatively extensive academic text;
- reflect the supervisor's feedback and recommendations and incorporate them in a final version of masters's thesis;
- find a suitable citation system and use it consistently and correctly throughout the masters's thesis;
- prepare the text of a masters's thesis meeting the requirements for academic texts in humanities and the social sciences.
