Course objectives
The aim of the course is to expose students to intercultural conversations and to practise their own speaking style in both face-to-face as well as virtual communication situations. By the end of this course, the students will be able to speak and critically discuss a wide range of intercultural and interdisciplinary issues in academic context; they will be aware of typical features of spoken language. The acquired skills will enable them to become more efficient communicators within the social and academic community.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, the students will be able: to prepare a short presentation for international audience, to communicate effeciently in virtual environments, to describe and analyse certain intercultural issues, to communicate effieciently within academic community.
