- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to bridge the phases of user research and design of information services. The course will provide a first insight into project and business thinking in service design in the context of digital project start-ups.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- understand the different types of objectives and their impact on work,
- find relevant objectives for their project,
- begin to differentiate between objectives and metrics,
- discuss and reflect on the practical implications of a project for an organisation,
- create a system that can be used on every other project. - Syllabus
- 1. From research to design: the design challenge
- 2. Types of objectives
- 3. Group work: defining outcomes, outputs, impacts of the project
- 4. The actual design of the project objectives
- 5. Feedback session.
